Bazadais nubuck is created by buffing Bazadais bull skins to achieve a velvety surface called the "nap". Despite a silky texture, Bazadais nubuck retains the strength, durability and resilience of classic Bazadais bull hides.

Barenia® calf is a smooth, pure aniline leather which shows all the natural markings and character of the hide. This natural leather gains a glowing patina and a deeper beauty over time. It is extremely durable and due to its special tanning process, is resistant to water.

Bazadais nubuck has been treated with Scotchguard® which will help protect it from stains. Light marks or stains can be removed using a rubber suede-brush or crepe rubber. In order to remove more significant stains or dirt, you can spot-clean the surface with a wet, clean cloth. Allow the cleaned area to dry completely and use a brush to gently restore the soft nap. Importantly, do not use leather cleaning products or leather creams/moisturizers.

Barenia® calf is a leather that is made to acquire a rich patina as it ages naturally. It is a leather that requires minimal care. Marks that appear from daily use will gradually blend and fade over time as the leather's patina develops.

To remove surface dirt or dust, wipe your Barenia calf item gently and lightly with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Ensure the cloth is clean and soft. Avoid repeated rubbing to remove marks and stains. Importantly, do not use leather cleaning products or leather creams/moisturizers.
